Flatteners
4- Uploading (Harnessing the power of communities)
Communities uploading and collaborating on online projects, such as open sources software, blogs.
5- Outsourcing
Outsourcing lets companies to split service and manufacturing activities into components that did in the most efficient cost effective way. This became easier with the mass distribution of fiber optic cables during the introduction of the World Wide Web (WWW).
6- Off shoring (running with Gazelles Eating with Lions)
The processes are to a foreign land to take advantage of less expensive operations there. China's entrance in the World Trade Organization allowed for greater competition in the playing field. Countries like Malaysia, Mexico, and Brazil have to compete against China and each other to have businesses offshore to them.
-          Uploading is the most disruptive force of all and because there are dangers to a flat playing field when it comes to creating global knowledge and information. Though communities may self-police to try to ensure that what is released as news, software, or encyclopedia information is true and reliable, since no one is in charge quality control is not perfect.

Technology

Technology
The main idea that Ray Kurweil talked about was how technology improved over time and step by step. The first example that he gave was about the solar cells. The solar cells are kindly to the environment. Also, it does not hurt the environment. Using the solar cells will provide energy till 2030. Another example he gave which was about phones, and how were people`s reaction. People used to use it. In addition, people use phones which have new and easier application.
Technology nowadays is developing faster that the old day. Ray Kurweil explained that how technology improved and how other technology need time to be done. He said that there is a project which needs 15 years to be done and after 10 years they did only one out of thousand of what needs to be done. Ray Kurweil gave another example about some companies and how they encounter between each other lead to deflation. When a company put a new product in the market, another company comes and put the same product with a better setting, so it might be better and people attract to it more.
